Notes and regulations

Lancaster Cycling Club Open Hill Climb – Sunday, 2 October 2011. First rider off at 10.01 a.m.

NOTES

Parking – you have three options
1) Near the start: There is very limited parking on the grass verges on Rigg Lane and Bay Horse Road (north and south of the start) near the start at Quernmore Junction. Take care if you park here. This road is a favourite ride for Sunday motorcyclists!
2) At the finish: There is an unmade car park at Jubilee Tower itself, at the finish of the hill climb course. You may park here and ride down to the start to sign on and ride the course. NB The fudge will be at the finish!
3) Just downhill (west) of the start: On Wyresdale Road, about 600m downhill from the start, on the right, is Quernmore Recreational Ground. The caretaker has kindly agreed to allow parking within their car park for the event. There is room for around 15 cars there, and it is quite handy for the start.

Signing on
All riders must sign on. Look out for old, black BMW with boot open for signing-on sheet.

Sign on; collect your race number and make sure you familiarise yourself with the course.
PLEASE TRY TO SIGN ON BEFORE 10 a.m. so that the organiser can travel up to the finish.
