Tour of Britain

The Tour of Britain tackled Jubilee Tower recently … albeit from the wrong side! I cycled up to the Trough to watch, as did hundreds of others. I tried to look out for local rider Ben Greenwood, but even on the 15% uphill section the peloton was flashing past too quickly to see everyone. Brad Wiggins was driving them on as they went past.

MapMyRide measures the course as 1.85miles.

I’ll get out there and measure it! I think the 1.75 miles comes from the official CTT course details, but that might have been measured in 1910! By horse and cart!
